When I first came to Julia I was struggling after a traumatic event in my life. My self-confidence was low, I was nervous of judgement from other people, and I was second guessing myself. 

I needed to get some help to get me back to how I used to be.

Julia helped identify some of the issues that were affecting my recovery and signposted me to therapy and counselling.  Having taken part in these programs, Julia then helped me find my confidence again through coaching. She is friendly and non-judgmental. With her help I was able to take back control of my life.

I needed Julia's expertise again after being on maternity leave for a year. I was dreading returning back to the workplace. I had the anxieties of leaving my young child at nursery or with family members, who might not understand my child's additional needs. I was also having to go back to learn a new job role, in an area I knew very little about, with a new team that I hadn't previously met.  I had the stress of learning the new job skills and responsibilities and a whole new computer system to learn, which was very overwhelming.

Returning to work after a career break was a huge challenge - I was juggling childcare, another job, and adjusting to new technology, all while dealing with the stress of being investigated for a heart condition, both for myself and my children. It was an overwhelming time, and I often found myself doubting whether I could manage it all.

Julia was an incredible support throughout. During our sessions she helped me work through my options, breaking things down in a way that made everything feel more manageable. Whenever I tried to downplay what I was going through, saying “it’s nothing” or brushing it off, she wouldn’t let me. Instead, she encouraged me to recognise the challenges I was facing and reminded me that it was okay to acknowledge them. That shift in perspective made a huge difference, allowing me to be kinder to myself and regain confidence in handling everything.
